Competition for non-commercial clinical trials or research experiments – ABM/2024/1

On March 10, 2023, the Medical Research Agency (ABM) published the Competition Regulations for: „Open competition for non-commercial clinical trials and research experiments – ABM/2024/1”.

The main goal of the Competition is the implementation of non-commercial clinical trials or research experiments regarding the identification and evaluation of medicinal products, medical procedures, including diagnostic and therapeutic procedures. The most important tasks within the Competition include developing new standards of treatment, diagnosis or rehabilitation, as well as increasing knowledge about the most clinically optimal therapies for a wide spectrum of diseases, with particular emphasis on:

  • cardiology and hypertension,
  • neurology and psychiatry
  • infectious diseases – infections and immunity,
  • rare diseases,
  • pediatrics (including infancy, neonatal and prenatal periods),
  • reproductive health
  • telemedicine and digital health solutions.

 

Projects submitted under the Competition must have the status of:

– non-commercial clinical trials, concerning the evaluation of the effects of a medicinal product

or

– research experiments involving the evaluation of the effects of medical procedures, including diagnostic procedures.
