Competition for non-commercial clinical trials or research experiments in the field of oncology – ABM/2024/2

On June 26, 2024, the Medical Research Agency (ABM) published the Competition Regulations for: „Non-commercial clinical trials or research experiments in the field of oncology – ABM/2024/2”.

The main goal of the Competition is the implementation of non-commercial clinical trials regarding the identification and evaluation of medicinal products or research experiments regarding the identification and evaluation of medical procedures, including diagnostic and therapeutic procedures in the field of oncology. The most important tasks under the Competition include developing new standards of prevention, diagnostics, treatment or rehabilitation as part of non-commercial clinical trials or research experiments, as well as increasing knowledge about clinically optimal therapies for oncological diseases.

Projects submitted under the Competition must have the status of:

– non-commercial clinical trials, concerning the evaluation of the effects of a medicinal product

or

– research experiments involving the evaluation of the effects of medical procedures, including diagnostic procedures.

Research teams with a concept/project idea should complete a short form regarding the general assumptions of the project (Form)  and send it to the CWBK (cwbk.konkursy@umed.lodz.pl) by July 31, 2024.
