Clinical Trials Support Centre official opening 29.03.2022
We are pleased to announce that on 29 March 2022 the Clinical Trials Support Centre together with the Early Phases Centre of the Medical University was officially opened. The ceremony was held by Professor Janusz Piekarski, Vice-Chancellor for Organisational and Student Affairs.
The Project for the Centre development received funding of PLN 11 million from the Medical Research Agency (ABM).
The main objective of the rewarded Project is to provide comprehensive assistance to the University and its hospitals in the implementation of clinical trials, working closely with the primary care facilities, as well as with provincial hospitals and other clinical partners.
The Clinical Trials Support Centre, managed by the Director Joanna Połowinczak – Przybyłek, MD, PhD, is currently implementing 12 projects (5 of which as a leader and 7 as a consortium member) funded by the Medical Research Agency.
