We want every potential participant to know what to expect – what their rights are, what the potential benefits are, and what the risks involve. Your health and safety are our absolute priority.

What is the participation process?

  • Initial contact – a preliminary conversation or invitation.

The Patient in Clinical Trials service is a project implemented by the Medical Research Agency along with its Partners. Its an official, reliable, and constantly updated information source created with the goal of bringing the topic of clinical trials closer to patients and their loved ones. The site contains reliable and understandable content explaining, among other things, what clinical trials are, what their stages are, what rights and obligations are available to patients, and what the process of joining a trial looks like. Patient in Clinical Trials also serves as a source of practical tips regarding participant safety, as well as dispelling myths and doubts related to participation in trials. Thanks to this, it plays an important educational role and supports patients in making informed decisions about participation in clinical trials.

Educational and informational films

The Patient in Clinical Trials service also offers educational and informational films, which explain the most important issues related to participation in clinical trials in an accessible and attractive form. Video materials help patients and their loved ones understand what trials involve, what benefits and risks they carry, and how the participation process works, serving as a valuable complement to brochures and guides. 

CLINICAL TRIALS FOR THE YOUNGEST PATIENTS

In order to tailor educational and informational content to the needs of the youngest patients, the “Tadzik – Ambassador for Pediatric Clinical Trials” project was created within the Patient in Clinical Trials service. This is an initiative dedicated to children and their caregivers, aimed at bringing topics related to clinical trials closer in an understandable, friendly, and age-appropriate manner for the youngest audience.
